The full curriculum

Take your mind
back.

Twelve lectures. Read them here, work through the examples, and practice the questions. No account required.

This curriculum starts with Joe Rounsaville’s argument that religion can train people to defend a source of comfort before they learn to examine its claims. It follows that argument through emotion, childhood conditioning, evidence, morality, and the practical work of answering missionary outreach.

Each lecture includes a developed argument, worked examples, an exercise, and a discussion prompt. The last four form the field training. Allow 30–45 minutes per lecture with practice, or work through one each week.
